In countries where abortion is illegal, there are just as many of them as in countries where it is legal. The only difference is that the procedure is not done safely and is a lot more dangerous. A lot of pregnant girls even attempt to do it themselves, which can have disastrous effects. It would be a lot more effective to, instead of outlawing abortion, put more money towards education. Not abstinence only, because that doesn't work, but education about contraception and birth control. Then make morning after pills and condoms easily accessible. That would reduce accidental teenage pregnancies. As for rape and incest victims, they need the right to have an abortion. Counseling, too. How would you like to live seeing the evidence of the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to you every time you look in a mirror? Every time you feel it moving? Don't like abortion?
