Outlawing abortion would never help. In countries where abortion is illegal, there are just as many of them as in countries where it is legal. The only difference is that the procedure is not done safely and is a lot more dangerous. A lot of pregnant girls even attempt to do it themselves, which can have disastrous effects.

It would be a lot more effective to, instead of outlawing abortion, put more money towards education. Not abstinence only, because that doesn't work, but education about contraception and birth control. Then make morning after pills and condoms easily accessible.
That would reduce accidental teenage pregnancies. As for rape and incest victims, they need the right to have an abortion. Counseling, too.
How would you like to live seeing the evidence of the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to you every time you look in a mirror? Every time you feel it moving?

Don't like abortion? Then don't have one.

What is the reason to get "married" if you don't get the benefits of that "marriage" on a federal level? Homosexuals (if that term makes you feel better) should not get anything less than heterosexuals and to legitimize anything less is acceptance of a secondary sub-human place in society.

The only indoctrination going on in schools or anywhere else is a christian ideology of marriage, morality and ethical behavior. It is the ideology of a group of people who think their way of doing things is THE "right" way that warps children too young to know better and too trusting (or scared) to question the crap they are fed by adults.

The only thing being undone is an unquestioned acceptance of the BIBLICAL definition of marriage. Are people so afraid their child might be gay or are they mad that their kids might not give up what they want to make their parents happy, like they did. Or are they mad that they don't unquestioningly accept what their "authorities" tell them but rather question everything and that upsets people who long ago resigned to never having what they want out of live just being happy with what they get from it.

Blessed Be~

Barry, unfortunately what passes for art filling the real galleries isn't much better than this ignominious junk.

I had the overwhelming urge to grab one of those and snap 'em in a sensitive spot.

It's crazy that people are paying to look at this stuff when Toronto has several wonderful art galleries. It's nuts that people are getting paid for dreaming this stuff up when their time would be more productively spent disinfecting trash cans.

I think the commentators are pretty transparent on Fox. The whole fair and balanced business is (imho at least) more a reference to the fact that both sides are given air time rather than that there is commentator neutrality. (Like watching Donahue  ROTFLMBO)

I slammed Fox last night... did you miss it?
